Description

Ticocef EDTA Injection is a combination antibiotic formulation containing Ceftriaxone 1000 mg, Sulbactam 500 mg, and Disodium Edetate (EDTA) 37 mg. Ceftriaxone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Sulbactam helps protect the antibiotic from certain beta-lactamase enzymes, enhancing its activity against susceptible bacteria. EDTA is included as an adjuvant component in the formulation.
